Bigfork Playhouse Children’s Theater stages ‘Disney’s Descendants’

The Bigfork Playhouse Children’s Theater presents “Disney’s Descendants — the Musical.”

It is present day and in the kingdom of Auradon, all of Disney’s beloved heroes and royalty are living happily ever after, safe from the terrifying villains and troublesome sidekicks they have banished to the magic-free Isle of the Lost. That is until Ben, the benevolent teenage son of Belle and King Beast, offers a chance of redemption for the troublemaking children — Maleficent, the Evil Queen, Cruella DeVil and Jafar — and are welcomed to Auradon Prep to attend school with the children of their parents’ sworn enemies. The four Villain Kids now have a difficult choice to make: should they follow in their parents’ wicked footsteps or learn to be good?

Performances will be at the Bigfork Center for the Performing Arts at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, March 4, 5, 11 and 12, with a Sunday matinee March 13 at 2 p.m.

Tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors, $9 for students, and $8 for children under 10 and can be purchased online or at the box office one hour prior to performances.
