Jeanne Eleanor (Keith) Hobbs, 81
Jeanne Eleanor (Keith) Hobbs, 81, made her way to heaven March 2, 2022.
She was born Feb. 15, 1941, to Lowell W. and Eugenia Clayton Himmler in Richmond, Virginia.
In 1960 she married William D. Keagy. They were stationed in Guam where she fondly remembered snorkeling for seashells.
Later in Washington, D.C., she started in the secretarial pool and worked her way up to deputy chief of the Personnel and Counseling Branch of the Voice of America.
Jeanne married Bob W. Jackson in 1969. They loved working on their home and time at the seashore. In 1980 they packed up the family and moved to Montana.
In 1986 she found her true passion as a Realtor and worked in the Flathead Valley for 29 years retiring as a broker in 2015.
Jeanne married Harry “Mike” Keith in 1990 and they spent many happy years together until he passed away in 2012.
In 2017 she met the final love of her life, Marvin Hobbs, at a Senior Center dance. They loved dancing at the Eagles and were inseparable until Marvin passed away last fall.
Jeanne lived a full and adventurous life. She was artistic, hardworking and pursued her passions with an endless supply of energy. She studied at the College of Fashion Design, took photography classes and spent many hours in her dark room. Her love of photography stayed with her whole life as she chronicled the lives of her family. She raised llamas and was an avid gardener and seamstress.
Jeanne is survived by her daughter, Lisa (Mark) Jones, of Kalispell; grandchildren, Jordan Jones and Jeanne Jones of Kalispell and William “Jared” Jones of Bozeman; Bob Jackson’s daughter, Caroline (Jim) Wilson of Missoula; Mike Keith’s children, Harry “Butch” Keith, Robert “Bob” Keith and Teresa ”Terry” Keith of Kalispell; Marvin Hobbs children, Colleen Hobbs of Kalispell, Julie Rauscher of Spearfish, South Dakota, and James Hobbs of Everett, Washington; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on March 15 at Johnson-Gloschat Funeral Home at 11 a.m.
