Stuart Bushby, 56

Stuart Bushby, 56, passed away of natural causes at his home in Kalispell on Sunday, Feb. 13, 2022.

Born September 12, 1965, in Philipsburg, Montana, he was the son of the Eldon and Karen Bushby.

Stuart lived in Hall, Montana, before moving to Spokane with his mother. He returned to Montana in 1976. He graduated from Flathead High School in 1984 and remained a dedicated Flathead Braves football fan up to his passing, attending every football game he could. His passion for the Denver Broncos was known by all. Being a coach was his dream. He loved the Montana outdoors, especially camping, fishing, hunting and growing pumpkins with the help of his stepfather, Larry Dahlke, whom he idolized.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Karen and Larry Dahlke; his brother Craig Bushby, his stepbrother Larry F. Dahlke (Carrie), and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was predeceased by his father Eldon Bushby, and grandparents Basil and Utahna Kennedy, Lloyd and Helen Bushby and Betty Dolezal.

A service will be held for family and friends on June 11 at 11 a.m. at the cemetery in Philipsburg. A reception will be held after the service with location to be announced.
