A hurdles sweep by Glacier’s Caleb Bernhardt was among the highlights of the track and field dual held Thursday between the host Wolfpack and Class A Columbia Falls.

Career-best marks from Aiden Krause and Jackson Hensley were two more.

Glacier’s boys won 14 of 17 events at the unscored meet, with Bernhardt getting PRs while winning the 110 hurdles (15.35) and 300 hurdles (39.88). He became the second AA runner to break 40 seconds this spring, while Gallatin’s Tyler Gilman remains a shade faster at 39.55.

Ethan Anderson was second in both hurdles; his 300s time of 40.66 qualifies him for the State AA meet and unofficially ranks him sixth.

Hensley lowered his PR in the 100 meters from 11.25, set at the Archie Roe Invitational, to 11.13 Thursday. He now ranks in the top eight in Class AA.

Krause, meanwhile, threw the discus 159 feet, 3 inches — far beyond his previous best of 145-4. The sophomore now sits second in Class AA in that event.

Jackson Barney also PR’d for the Pack in the pole vault, clearing 13 feet.

Glacier’s girls won 13 of 17 events, including Noah Fincher’s sweep of the 100 and 200, and Bailey Gable’s victory in the 300 hurdles.

Jaidyn Pevey (high jump), Breanna Barnes (100 hurdles), Alyssa Vollertsen (1,600) and Zephy Hanson (3,200) were among the winners for the Pack.

Columbia Falls’ Siri Erickson ran her best time in the 800, winning in 2:25.01 and maintaining her No. 2 ranking in Class A.

The Wildkats’ Madeline Stutsman climbed into Class A’s top eight in the discus with a mark of 112-0; teammates Alexis Green (triple) and Emma McAllister (pole vault) also brought home wins.
