A man went to the Kalispell Police Department after a man wearing thick glasses and a bright orange jacket reportedly threatened a man with a knife and chased him out of the library and then went back inside. Officers detained one man.

Officers responded to a report that a man’s fiance allegedly stabbed him in the face at a friend’s house. He said she was a drunk and he wanted medical attention but not the “lights and sirens.” She was taken to jail.

A woman allegedly yelled before tackling a man, who was using a knee scooter in a bank parking lot and then went her own way. Officers spoke with the woman who said they were arguing, but she did not recall an altercation.

Officers received a report of a many lying on a curb with his feet dangling into the road, which made someone concerned a vehicle they heard coming around the corner could hit his legs. Officers drove past the man multiple times during the day and said he was OK.

A second call came in regarding the man when he was allegedly seen in the middle of the road, drunk, and then moved to the sidewalk where he settled in, surrounded by litter and an alcohol bottle. The caller was advised they received multiple calls on the man and had checked on his welfare.

Someone thought they heard what sounded like young men’s voices angrily yelling at a female outside Conrad Mansion where a diesel truck kept circling. Turns out, it was to a group of teens “just being kids.” They headed home.
