Sammie Labrum and Emma Cooke each hit home runs to back the sterling relief pitching of Ella Farrell, and Glacier thumped Missoula Sentinel 15-6 in a Western AA softball battle Friday.

Labrum had three hits, including a double, and drove in five runs for the host Wolfpack (10-9 overall, 5-8 in league games).

Glacier trailed 6-1 before piling up seven runs in the third inning. Alli Kernan had two singles in the frame, in which Glacier had seven hits; her second pushed across two runs for an 8-6 Wolfpack lead.

In the fifth inning Labrum hit her fifth home run, a two-run shot, and Cooke followed with her fifth homer for a 13-6 lead.

Farrell came on after Sentinel (14-7, 10-3 league) scored five runs in the first, three coming on a Cassidy Schweitzer homer. Farrell scattered nine hits and five walks in six innings, and struck out six.

Glacier concludes its regular season today in Butte. The Wolfpack has qualified for the State AA tournament next week in Missoula.
