Port Polson Players stage final weekend of ‘No Coward’s Epitaph”

| May 26, 2022 12:00 AM

Port Polson Players are reprising the historical musical by Neal Lewing, “No Coward’s Epitaph” at Polson’s Theatre on the Lake for one final weekend.

The show tells the story of Thomas Francis Meagher, the man on the horse in front of Montana’s state capitol in Helena. Meagher, an Irish patriot, became Montana’s first acting territorial governor.

Full of all the action, intrigue, commentary and romance that defined Meagher’s brief life (1823 to 1867), the musical captures his ongoing legacy, which remains relevant today.

Curtain times are 7:30 p.m. Friday, and Saturday, May 27 and 28, with a Sunday matinee at 2 p.m. May 29.
