Dayne Tu’s RBI double in the 10th inning broke a 2-2 tie, and the Glacier Twins scored a 4-2 win over the Kalispell AA Lakers Friday at Griffin Field.

Tu’s two-bagger drove in Hayden Meehan, who’d singled. After a Lakers error, Mason Peters drove in Tu with a single for the game’s final run.

The Lakers led 2-0 in the fourth, when Max Holden walked, move to second on Kostya Hoffman’s single, stole third and scored on an overthrow. Elijah Owens followed with a sacrifice fly that scored Hoffman.

Meehan’s RBI single in the eighth inning and Peter’s base hit that scored Owen Shilling in the ninth knotted the game.

The Twins got some excellent pitching to improve to 9-1. Mikey Glass threw four innings, scattering two hits and three walks. He gave up both runs and struck out three.

Meehan got the win with six innings of three-hit relief. He walked one and struck out seven. He worked around an error and single in the 10th, with the game ending on an unsuccessful steal.

Holden was equally good for the Lakers (13-6), with seven innings of five-hit ball. He walked no one, gave up one unearned run and struck out five.
