Shakespeare in the Parks goes on Winter Tour

| November 10, 2022 12:00 AM

Montana Shakespeare in the Parks is back for its 2022 Winter Tour with a long-awaited production of “The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) – Revised.” They will be performing at 7 p.m. Nov. 11 at the Libby Memorial Events Center in Libby; and at 6 p.m. Nov. 12 at Bias Brewing in Kalispell.

Having postponed last year’s winter tour of this same production, the staff and cast are excited to bring this fast-firing comedy to 29 communities throughout Montana and Wyoming over the period of 34 days.

“Shakespeare has always been about the community for us, and that still holds true in our 50th season,” said Kevin Asselin, executive artistic director. “This winter’s production is beyond phenomenal, but what will make it special is getting to share it with our friends, family and community. We invite everyone to come out for our final tour of the 2022 season!”

From plays to sonnets, “The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) - Revised” is a high octane performance that sets out to prove that three actors can do the impossible: Act through Shakespeare's entire canon — 37 plays — in 90 minutes. The show is free to attend.
