‘Come as you are’ to Alliance’s Drag Show
Glacier Queer Alliance presents “Drag Show: Come as You Are” Saturday, Nov. 19, at the Gathering Place at the Gateway Community Center 1203 U.S. 2 W., Kalispell.
Doors open at 9 p.m. and the show begins at 10 p.m.
$10 gets you in the door; tipping is encouraged.

Glacier Queer Alliance is a nonprofit working to connect queer community to each other and resources by providing safe and appropriate spaces and activities for the LGBTQ+ community in the Flathead Valley and beyond.
Wasabi Community Night benefits WTC
Wasabi Sushi Bar and Ginger Grill in Whitefish is hosting the Whitefish Theatre Company (WTC) for Community Night Sunday, Nov. 20. A portion of all sales will be donated to benefit WTC’s theater and music programming and the work they do with youth, seniors and the community.
Proceeds from take-out orders and gift cards will also benefit WTC. Wasabi opens at 5 p.m. and it is highly recommended to make reservations at 406-863-9283.
Cawdrey giclee raises funds for North Valley Food Bank
Nancy Dunlop Cawdrey will donate 15% of sales of her new limited edition giclée "Well Fed" to the North Valley Food Bank in Whitefish to support its cause to bring food security to the local community.

Art in the Garden exhibit and sale
Over a dozen members of the local outdoor painters’ group, Plein Air Painters of the Flathead, have arranged an art display of their work that is for sale. Fisher’s Greenhouses is sponsoring the month-long event, and is located at 1225 Mooring Road in Columbia Falls.

WF Review host Chris Dombrowski reading
Whitefish Review hosts author Chris Dombrowski for a reading of his newly released book, “The River You Touch: Making a Life on Moving Water” (Milkweed Editions, 2022) Friday, Nov. 18 at Casey’s in downtown Whitefish.
From the basic realities of changing diapers, to paying the mortgage with a threadbare bank account, to conjuring the metaphysical realms of time, memory, and how to live a life of integrity, Dombrowski presents heartfelt stories of family life and fatherhood in wild places.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with live music by Lander Busse. The reading begins at 7:30 p.m. A $10 suggested donation is requested to support the nonprofit literary journal.
