Culinary event benefits ski foundation
The Flathead Valley Ski Education Foundation is having its 2022 Showcase of the Chefs Tuesday, Dec. 6. The theme this year is “Black Diamond Jubilee” in celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Whitefish Mountain Resort.
This culinary experience provides the opportunity to make a difference for hundreds of young skiers who participate with the Flathead Valley Ski Education Foundation.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Dinner will be served starting at 7 p.m. and features cuisine from Wasabi Sushi, Latitude 48 Bistro, Gunsight Saloon, Whitefish Lake Restaurant and The Lodge at Whitefish Lake.
Silent and live auctions will take place during the evening. This year a new auction platform will give guests a chance to bid on items online and the checkout will be seamless. Some of the top auction items will be listed pre-event, so attendees can start bidding before they come. Those who aren't able to attend this year, can still participate online.
Tickets can be purchased online only, through a link at www.fvsef.org or directly at https://one.bidpal.net/fvsefshowcase/welcome.
Volunteers are also needed for the event. There are many roles, including managing check-in, silent and live auction support, guest services, etc. Sign up on the website under Support FVSEF/Volunteer/Dibs.
