A woman complained about a group of kids who used chalk to write profanity and draw parts of the male anatomy all over tennis courts, signing it with her child’s name, who she said was not involved. She said she would wash off some of the writing, but asked officers to talk to the kids. The incident was forwarded to school resource officers and Kalispell Parks and Recreation to follow up on.

A woman allegedly saw a man wearing “bell bottom disco pants,” a “fluffy see-through skirt” and a black wig walk by her property. She claimed she went inside her home and he came over and started pounding on the door, so she said she had a gun, which she pointed at him, and he left.

A couple was suspicious that they were being set up for a scam after a man who had called claiming to be a private investigator from another state showed up at their door with another man, who “did not appear to be dressed right for the position they were supposedly representing.” They apparently were wanting to get “25-year-old recollections of someone.”

Someone thought an individual was posing as a prospective date they met through a dating app for “nefarious purposes” after discovering the phone number they were texting did not belong to the person they met online. Officers answered their questions.

Restaurant employees asked an elderly man with an orange backpack to move along because he was allegedly acting unruly and talking to imaginary people. He complied but did so without paying for his tab.

A woman, who was reportedly arrested last month for an incident involving a disturbance, called 911 three times and hung up immediately. Officers went to the residence where the front door was open and made contact with a man and two children. The parties agreed to separate for the night.

A woman called to advise officers that five people were throwing rocks and she was hit by one. She said she was leaving with her children, didn’t need medical attention and didn’t want to file charges. A passerby told officers the kids moved along.

A woman arrived home from a trip to purportedly find a shopping cart filled with belongings. A neighbor walked through her house with her and it didn’t appear that anyone gained access, so she left the cart on the sidewalk for officers to pick up later.
