Laureen Dawn Behm, 58, of Temple, Texas, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Sept. 25, 2022, after a lengthy battle with cancer.

Laurie's strong faith, positive outlook, generous spirit, and kind heart left a lasting impression with whomever she met. She went out of her way to help anyone in need and had a heart for the hurting. Laurie was not able to have her own children; she spent every ounce of love that she had on her numerous nieces, nephews and her beloved cats.

Laurie was predeceased by her grandparents, Wiferd and Elsine Pedersen, and Elmer and Dorothy Colby; and her mother, Melba Pedersen.

Laurie is survived by her father Curtis Pedersen, husband Michael Lopez, sisters Pati (Mike), Leslie, and Layna (John), and brothers Danny (Angie) and Mike.
