Frazier shines in final home match for Glacier
Glacier’s last home volleyball match was a satisfying sweep of Missoula Big Sky, with the lone senior — Maddie Frazier — having her usual big night.
“Maddie Frazier went out with heart and soul tonight for her last game on the Wolfpack floor,” Wolfpack coach Courtney Baker said after the 25-23, 25-13, 25-23 win. “She ran the floor and picked up anything around her.
“Our team served hard and our serve-receive passers worked hard to get great balls to the setters. I’m excited as we move into post season play.”
Sarah Downs sent down 11 kills for the Wolfpack (9-15 overall, 8-6 in league), which takes the No. 3 seed into the Western AA Divisional that begins next Thursday at Big Sky and Hellgate high schools. Glacier will battle Hellgate, which it swept Tuesday, in the first round.
Frazier had 23 digs. Kaylie Field and Natalie Herne each had three aces, while the Wolfpack had a total of 11.
