Wildcats grab 43-6 win over Vigilantes

HELENA — The Columbia Falls Wildcats pounced on the East Helena Vigilantes early and often Friday night in Helena to grab a 43-6 road win.

Jace Duval had an 82 yard kick return to put the Wildcats up 7-0. Two passing touchdowns from quarterback Cody Schweikert pushed the lead to 22-0 after the first quarter. Reggie Sapa kept things going to start the second with a rushing touchdown to move the score to 29-0. The Vigilantes responded in the second with a 35 yard passing touchdown from Jack Taylor to Trevor Held but after that it was all Wildcats with Sapa and Alihn Anderson both rushing for second-half touchdowns.

Schweikert racked up 300 yards passing connecting often with Mark Robinson and Justin Windauer who both broke the 100 yard receiving mark on the day.
