Vocal powerhouse Shayna Steele performs one night only

Just a few tickets remain for Whitefish Theatre Company’s performance by singing sensation Shayna Steele at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, at the O’Shaughnessy Center in Whitefish.

After spending eight years as a Broadway ensemble member in shows such as “Rent” and “Hairspray” and six years as a background vocalist for Bette Midler, Rihanna, Kelly Clarkson, Moby and Steely Dan, Steele stepped out on her own in 2015. Now, with the release of three critically acclaimed albums, she is touring the world showcasing her soulful energy and knockout vocals as she performs originals, R&B favorites, and jazz and blues standards. Steele will be backed by a five-piece band.

Steele has appeared as a soloist and guest artist with over 40 symphony orchestras throughout North America. Her most recent solo concert Nothin’ But the Blues, written and conducted by Maestro Jeff Tyzik, is one of many highlights in her symphonic solo career.
