LIBBY — Sydney Mann and Hope McAtee each scored hat tricks to help the Columbia Falls Wildkats to an 8-0 Northern A soccer win over Libby Friday.

McAtee also added four assists. Bella Mann and Josie Harris added goals; Harris also had two assists.

“I thought Apani Awua, Brenna Ruggiero, Kenzee West, Zoey Byrd and our whole defensive unit played great to help us get our third shut out of the season,” Wildkats coach Thomas Clark said. “They’ve continued to improve throughout the year, and it’s awesome to see them hit their stride as we get to the latter part of the year. When you combine that defensive performance with hat tricks from Sydney and Hope, and great performances on offense, we are going to be tough to beat.”

The Wildkats are 5-3-0 overall and 2-2-0 in conference play.

“Our team continues to stack good performances and that is critically important at this point of the season,” Clark added.
