Glacier boys tie Helena High

Liam Ells and Hans Coggins scored for Glacier in a 2-2 tie with Helena Capital Saturday in Western AA soccer.

Goalkeeper Dylan Holly picked up an assist on Ells’ goal and Alex Hoerner assisted on Coggins’ goal.

“It was a great game, just two great teams going toe to toe,” Glacier coach Ryan Billiett said. “The boys stayed composed. It was a physical match. Certainly pleased with the performance, especially with the quick turnaround.”

The Wolfpack is 5-1-3; Capital is 5-0-3. Next for Glacier is a visit to Missoula Big Sky on Thursday.

Western AA foe Helena Capital topped Glacier 3-2 on Saturday, dropping the Wolfpack to a three-game losing streak.

Reagan Brisendine scored both of Glacier’s goals, and Reese Ramey and Emmery Schmidt each had an assist.

Helena High blanked Glacier 9-0 on Friday night. Complete scoring information was not available.
