Children’s Playhouse musical ‘Annie Jr.’ returns this weekend

The Bigfork Playhouse Children’s Theatre production “Annie Jr.,” continues with shows Sept. 30, and Oct. 1 at 7:30 p.m., and a Sunday matinee on Oct. 2 at 2 p.m. Tickets can be purchased online or at the box office one hour prior to performances.

The first production of its 2022-2023 season, over 60 local kids are involved in the production both on stage, and behind the scenes.

Annie charms everyone she meets with her positivity despite her rough start as an orphan under the supervision of the cruel Miss Hannigan. Her chance invitation to billionaire Oliver “Daddy” Warbucks’ home for Christmas changes her destiny forever for the better in this 1930s classic set in New York City.

The musical score features the songs “Tomorrow,” “Hard Knock Life,” “Little Girls NYC” and more.

Performances will be at the Bigfork Center for the Performing Arts. Tickets can be purchased online or at the box office one hour prior to performances. Tickets are $14 for adults, $12 for seniors, $11 for students, and $10 for children under 10.
