Flathead Lake Brewing Co. Pubhouse set to reopen
After being closed for several months following a main fire suppression pipe burst in the kitchen, the Flathead Lake Brewing Co. Pubhouse in Bigfork will be reopening the main floor of its restaurant on Tuesday, April 4.
The Pubhouse will be welcoming back patrons with $4 pints for one day only.
On Dec. 1, 2022 water flooded throughout most of the Pubhouse, a devastating event that required lots of mitigation with insurance and construction crews.
The past four months have been spent fixing drywall, repainting, replacing floors, and updating the kitchen, according to the business.
With the help of the Bigfork Fire Department, which arrived at the scene quickly, and STAT Restoration’s speedy work in drying out the building, repairs were able to begin quickly.
Hometown Handyman, Gilliard Painting as well as other various construction crews worked hard to put everything back together and Touris Plumbing, Star Electric, Federal Protection and Western Fire Protection spent hours repairing the building’s system.
The pubhouse will keep to the same hours as before the incident, Tuesday through Saturday from noon to 8 p.m.
The Pubhouse will also feature a new menu for its returning customers.
Before the closure, the Pubhouse welcomed Chef Louie Bertino to its crew. Bertino is excited to get back in the kitchen, where he has plans to keep some Pubhouse classics while adding a few new items to the lineup as well.
During all of this, the brewery side of the building was unaffected, so the Flathead Lake Brewing Co. has been brewing and canning as normal. The business has been ramping up production and getting ready for another busy summer in the Flathead Valley.
The company has updated some of its can labels and has even released a brand-new beer in cans.
