Tourism business breakfast

The Whitefish Chamber of Commerce is hosting a panel discussion on the upcoming summer tourism season on April 13. Featuring Glacier National Park Superintendent Dave Roemer, Whitefish Mountain Resort CEO Nick Polumbus, and Glacier Park International Airport Director Rob Ratkowski. On the agenda are Glacier’s controversial Vehicle Reservation System, the ongoing expansion project at the Airport, and continued improvements to the ski area’s summertime operations. The event is from 8 - 9:45 a.m. at Whitefish Moose Lodge, 230 W. 10th St. Tickets are $17 and available by emailing visit@whitefishchamber.org

Intellectual Property Seminar

This free seminar will teach entrepreneurs best practices on intellectual property topics for their business including patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, licensing, and more. The seminar will be led by Jeffrey Heutmaker, an attorney from Gravis Law with 35 years of intellectual property law experience in a wide variety of industries. 2023 Growth Summit

Kalispell Chamber of Commerce is hosting its third annual growth summit on April 12 from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Red Lion Hotel, 20 N Main, Kalispell. Topics discussed will include growth and momentum across the Flathead and housing and development hurdles like supply chain issues, labor, regulations, and community sentiment regarding growth. 85th Annual Cherry Growers’ Meeting

Flathead Lake Cherry Growers association is holding their annual meeting on April 15 at 9 a.m. at Yellow Bay Community Clubhouse, 23429 Montana 35. Bernardita Sallato, from Washington State University, will address all aspects of cherry tree nutrition. Advance registration is recommended. General admission is $25 per person and includes morning refreshments and lunch. If space is available, registrations will be accepted at the door at a cost of $30 per person.
