A river guide out floating in Kalispell complained to Flathead County Sheriff’s Office about the “gross amount” of orange clays people shot into the river. He also planned to call Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks, but wanted to know if law enforcement could take to the individuals.

Deputies responded to multiple calls about grass fires going out of control when the wind picked up Sunday in Bigfork and Kalispell.

A Kalispell man reportedly wanted to know how to go about scheduling a civil standby to drop off a vehicle and keys to his wife who was in jail and with whom there was a no-contact order.

A man allegedly tried to steal from a donation bin in Kalispell.

A woman complained about a landlord picking up trash and using her trashcan because she pays the garbage service fees.

A woman hanging out on her balcony thought it was suspicious to see a black truck with a blue camper allegedly pull up to a location where construction was going on, saw a woman get out, look around and then the truck drove away. Minutes later, the truck returned and the driver got out and started putting equipment in the back of the truck while the woman was inside waving a flashlight around.

A 20-year-old with bushy brown hair and a backpack reportedly stole two candy bars from a business that took back the confections and told officers they would get surveillance footage of the incident.

A resident allegedly heard what sounded like someone hitting glass in front of their house and then someone going to the back of the house, but they couldn’t see anyone because it was dark. Officers were unable to locate anyone in the area.

Someone reportedly heard a woman and two children screaming for help from their bathroom and asked officers to check on their welfare.

A man allegedly smoked marijuana and refused to leave a location that had a no-drug policy. He relocated to the city sidewalk.
