Margorie Dendy Periman, 79

Margorie Dendy Periman, 79, was born July 23, 1943, in Greenwood, Mississippi. She attended schools in Mississippi, Texas and Drummond, Montana.

She married Lawrence R. Periman June 15, 1960, they lived in Drummond, from 1956-1969.

In 1969 her husband Lawrence bought cedar fence mill in Flathead valley and operated it as a business for 36 years.

They lived in the Lower valley south of Kalispell, since 1969 and loved the farm life where she raised goats, calves, pigs, chickens, turkeys, geese and ducks. She also enjoyed gardening, canning and preserving food.

She loved to read classical literature and poetry, ancient history and delving into all the great unsolved mysteries of the world.

She worked as a teacher's aide in Flathead schools and in retail sales at Fred Meyer and J.C. Penney; office clerk at the Samaritan House, Kalispell's homeless shelter.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Thelma Jean Harms and Linda Joy Day.

She is survived by her sisters, Mary Frances Ruttenbur of Deer Lodge, and Victoria Skaggs of Drummond; children, Richard Daniel Periman and Christine Maree Benton; grandchildren, Zachary Breese, Anthony Benton and Alicia Benton (Coleman); great-grandchildren, Bruxsia Rayne Coleman, Riley Rose Benton and William David Lawrence Benton.
