Eureka Community Players dine in

The Eureka Community Players present “The Dining Room,” a play by A.R. Gurney, Aug. 4, during the Eureka Quilt Show weekend.
Directed by John and Sharon LaBonty, this show is a hybrid of readers theater – a style in which actors present dramatic readings without costumes/props — and a fully presented play since cast members had a limited time to rehearse various roles they will perform.
Shows are scheduled at 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 4 and Saturday, Aug. 5. A 3 p.m. performance is planned Sunday, Aug. 6. Performances will be held at the Timbers Event Center, 101 Julian Dr, Eureka, with tickets sold at the door.
