Dorothy and Herbert "Smitty" Smith

We sadly announce the passing of our parents. Dorothy Smith, 85, died March 1, 2023, and Herbert "Smitty" Smith, 86, died March 11 2023. They shared a life long love for each other and their family. They were married almost 50 years.

They are survived by their children, Cindy, Sharon, Leroy, Emmy, LaDonna, Bill and Theresa. Also, nieces and nephews, Linda, Larry, Katie, Carla, Gene and Laura, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Preceding Dorothy in death are her parents, Oscar and Evelyn; daughter, Melody; sons, Marty and Arvy; and grandson, Jake. Her sisters, Leona and Bertha. Brother, Carl; and sister-in-law, Faye. Half-brother, Cecil. Niece, Debbie; and nephew, Mackenzie.

Smitty was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Dickie.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
