Law Roundup: Yelling match actually just a pair of loud talkers

A caller told the Columbia Falls Police Department that he was angry that a dog bit him and asked about filing a discrimination lawsuit against his neighbor for slamming doors and cabinets.

After a possible road rage incident, two people were spotted arguing in front of the caller’s house. When confronted, they said they were not yelling, just talking loudly.

Someone’s car was hit. The impact left a dent on a rear door.

A man parked his camper on private property and the landowner wanted him relocated.

A male allegedly took $1,300 and a computer from an apartment.

A blue pickup was called in for suspected reckless driving.

Callers reported a homeless man on a bicycle to the Whitefish Police Department for making a commotion. Officers agreed to check the area for the noisy cyclist.

Two children were spotted unbuckled and hanging out the windows of a red Ford Fusion driving southbound on U.S. 93.

A caller reported the theft of their mobile phone and about $600. They spoke to their landlord and roommate, who both apparently felt accused and resented the allegations. They allegedly threatened the victim.

A passerby reported feeling uncomfortable walking past a decrepit motorhome parked on city property. They asked that officers move the vehicle and its inhabitants along.

A man reported a missing truck downtown.

A father reported a white, late-90s model Ford pickup truck after the driver nearly struck his daughter while blowing through a stop sign. It was last seen headed north on Colorado Avenue.
