Law roundup: Individual wants fairgoers to hear them roar
An individual wearing a lion head and roaring at the fair was reportedly annoying enough to someone, who hadn’t paid admission to see a circus, to make a walk-up complaint to the Kalispell Police Department. An officer watched the wannabe lion for several minutes, determining they were not making enough of a scene to make contact.
The statement, “Move you’re (expletive) rig,” was allegedly found written in red ink all over a vehicle by the mother-in-law of the registered owner.
Officers were advised about a fight at a barn.
A golf cart belonging to fair staff reportedly went missing and employees reported it stolen. The cart was located.
A very intoxicated man at a bus stop was allegedly yelling at anyone walking within earshot. He also tried to fight someone who walked up to give him water.
A swaying woman wearing a gray dress shirt and black pants was reportedly wandering through yards with a bicycle and stopping and standing in the middle of the road. Her behavior made someone think she was on drugs. She eventually rode away.
