A strange woman in a black truck reportedly put a syringe filled with a liquid that looked like blood in the mouths of at least two dogs, telling bystanders it was “iron and enzymes.” The woman denied the allegations but then showed an officer the syringe, claiming the liquid was fake blood but then said it was “sugar water for her diabetes.” The officer provided people with contact information and a case report number in the instance the dogs became ill.
