A man wearing a bandana and a baseball cap while allegedly carrying nunchucks menacingly approached someone’s car in a parking lot, prompting them to drive away. Left in the dust, the man began walking in circles. Officers determined there was a verbal disagreement between the pair and would-be Karate Kid moved along.
A man brazenly broke branches in the process of picking plums from a tree, which bothered someone enough to tell him to leave, but it took three times asking before he finally left.
Someone voiced concerns about a man shooting a compound bow in a park with children and houses around it. Officers found him shooting the bow in a safe manner.
A younger female and three males wearing dark clothing with the hoods up were allegedly opening car doors and digging through vehicles. When a passerby asked them what they were doing they started running, saying they were going to a friend’s house.
A man allegedly started screaming after he didn’t get his way when an employee denied him service twice for being drunk.
A rebellious 13-year-old who didn’t want to go to bed reportedly sparked a verbal argument that a neighbor was concerned had turned physical when a woman yelled at someone to get off of her. A Columbia Falls Police officer asked to speak with the 13-year-old, but the defiant teen refused to come out and talk.
Two surly teen girls allegedly lying in the roadway rolled their eyes at someone who told them to stay out of the street.
A woman didn’t exaggerate when she allegedly said she had “several situations going on,” one of them being inebriation. She rambled on about slamming her fingers in a door — though they didn’t look broken — where she worked and how everyone knew her. Her ramblings concluded when she told the officer who paid her a visit that a girl ran over her foot a couple of hours prior and it was fine but painful.
