Logan Health hospitals recognized with leadership awards

| December 10, 2023 12:00 AM

Four Logan Health hospitals were recognized with a 2023 Performance Leadership Award for excellence by The Chartis Center for Rural Health.

The Performance Leadership Awards honor top quartile performances (75th percentile or above) among rural hospitals in quality, outcomes and/or patient perspective. Logan Health had hospitals represented in each category this year.

For quality, Logan Health Chester and Logan Health Conrad were recognized. For outcomes, Logan Health Medical Center was recognized. And for patient perspective, Logan Health Whitefish was honored.

“We take tremendous pride in our ability to provide quality care to the rural communities across Montana,” says Craig Lambrecht, MD, CEO of Logan Health. “Awards like these show the commitment of our organization to bringing high quality care to Montanans, no matter where they are.

The Performance Leadership Awards are based on the results of the Chartis Rural Hospital Performance INDEX, the industry's most comprehensive and objective assessment of rural hospital performance. INDEX data is relied upon by rural hospitals, health systems with rural footprints, hospital associations and state offices of rural health around the country to measure and monitor performance across several areas impacting hospital operations and finance.

“Wherever we go in rural America, we witness first-hand the commitment, determination and compassion with which rural hospitals serve their communities,” said Michael Topchik, national leader of The Chartis Center for Rural Health. “Rural health care truly is mission-driven.”
