Linda Joyce Franchini, 78, passed away Dec. 11, 2023, at St. Petersburg General Hospital in Florida. She was born and raised in Orange County, California. She graduated from UCLA with a master's degree in library science. Her parents were Charles and Consuela Wiechhart.

She is survived by her husband, Julius "Joe" Franchini; both are longtime residents of Flathead Valley with homes at Lake Blaine and Polebridge in North Fork.

She worked many years as a kitchen designer for Home Depot in Kalispell. She was an active participant in philanthropic activities with the Franchini Family Charitable Foundations. She was instrumental in yearly gifting to Columbia Falls Food Bank, the Bob Marshall Wilderness Foundation, Intermountain Home for Children and Farming for the Future. Also, she was an avid gardener whose plantings were a spectacle to enjoy. She often offered other people compliments and a helping hand.

As a result of her marriage, she embraced seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was very self-sufficient and resourceful, a loving individual who enjoyed music and dancing. She enjoyed being in the company of animals and children. She had a beautiful smile and charming spirit. She will be long remembered by all who knew her. RIP my Love.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her name can be made to the Breast Cancer Center of Tampa General Hospital (TGH) Foundation.
