Jerome Wayne Iverson, 68

Jerome Wayne Iverson, 68, of Columbia Falls passed away Jan. 23, 2023. He was born Jan. 14, 1955, in Thief River, Minnesota to the late Gordon Iverson and Hilda Marie Iverson (Skretvedt).

Jerome was a kind gentleman with a huge heart, contagious laugh and sense of humor. He was a loving soul and always ready to extend a helping hand. Jerome was a true outdoorsman, where he enjoyed hunting, fishing and skipping rocks on the river. He was a “Jack-of-all-Trades” and could repair anything with a motor. Jerome worked professionally with a variety of jobs including manufacturing homes, carpentry, heavy machine operator, tree trimming and road making at Tally Lake. He loved the mountains and would traverse the mountainside like a billy goat.

Jerome is survived by wife of 40 years, Laurie M. Iverson; daughter, Dana Bearchild; son, Jerome John Iverson (Shannon); son, Joshua James Iverson; daughter, Antonia Iverson; son, Christopher Lee Iverson; 10 grandchildren; brother, Dave Iverson; sister, Gayle Skees (Dick); and brother, Dennis Iverson (Darla). In addition to his parents, Jerome is preceded in death by brother, Jack Iverson.
