Kraft, Bengals top Pack girls 43-31

Avery Kraft scored 15 points — six in the third quarter as Helena opened up a nine-point lead on the way to a 43-31 Western AA girls basketball win at Glacier High School.

Maloree English hit two 3-pointers for the Bengals, who improved to 11-3 overall and 8-2 in Western AA games.

Noah Fincher hit a pair of 3-pointers and scored 12 points for Glacier (2-12, 1-9 in league). Karly Allen also hit two threes and had eight points.

The Wolfpack plays Helena Capital Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Wolf Den.

LIBBY — Bailey Smith scored 15 points and Whitefish outscored Libby 30-15 over the first and third quarters to take this Northwest A battle Friday.

Smith had eight points in the first quarter and seven in the third; Jude Perry had six of her 11 points in the third quarter as well for the Bulldogs (5-10 overall, 4-5 in the Northwest A).

Rylee Boltz led the Loggers (6-11, 1-9) with 11 points.
