Bruins start fast, knock off Pack girls, 58-23
The Helena Capital girls bounced back after falling to Flathead Friday night with a 58-23 road win Saturday over Glacier in a Western AA matchup.
Forward Megan Swanson made a trio of 3-pointers on her way to a game-high 14 points for the Bruins and center Gracie Mockel chipped in 13.
Swanson had a 10-point second quarter to help propel the Bruins to a 30-8 lead at halftime. Guard Reese Ramey was the Wolfpack’s top bucket-getter, finishing with eight points. Noah Fincher followed that up with five.
