McAtee stuffs the statsheet as Wildkats beat Whitefish 70-33
COLUMBIA FALLS — The Columbia Wildkats beat the Whitefish Lady Bulldogs 70-33 Saturday in Northwest A hoops.
Hope McAtee had a near quadruple-double for the Wildcats (11-6 overall, 6-4 in league) finishing with 15 points, 10 rebounds, 7 assists, and seven steals.
Things were tight entering the second quarter. The Bulldogs trailed 12-10 when the Wildcats went on a 42-16 run over the course of the second and third frames to make things 54-26 entering the fourth quarter.
McAtee was the leading scorer for Columbia Falls while Taryn Borgen was second with 13. In total 11 different Columbia Falls players scored on the day.
Bailey Smith was a bright spot for the Bulldogs (5-11, 2-8) finishing with a game high 17 points while Jude Perry chipped in 11.
