Buls buries six 3s, Glacier tops Hellgate
MISSOULA — Kaidrian Buls scored a career-high 24 points, including six 3-pointers, and Glacier beat Missoula Hellgate 69-62 in boys basketball Saturday on the Knights’ floor.
The win, their sixth in seven games, pushed the Wolfpack’s record to 12-6 overall, 9-5 in the Western AA. Cohen Kastelitz added 14 points and front-court mate Noah Dowler had 11 as Glacier avenged a 49-41 home loss to Hellgate in January.
Helping were 11 3-pointers, including three from Adam Nikunen.
The Knights (14-4, 11-3 in league) trailed 34-25 at half and made a push in the third quarter, but Buls and Dowler (four points) helped keep them at bay.
Buls hit his sixth three in the fourth period, and Nikunen hit his second and third to help the Pack close things out.
Next up is the Western AA Divisional, at Flathead. The Wolfpack will open with No. 6 seed Missoula Big Sky.
