Business legislative agenda luncheon

The Kalispell Chamber of Commerce is holding a luncheon to discuss the business community’s legislative priorities going into Montana’s 68th legislative session. Speaking at the event will be ABS attorney Dan Stusek and Erica Wirtala, public affairs director for the Northwest Montana Association of Realtors. The luncheon is on Jan. 17 at Hilton Garden Inn, 1840 U.S. 93 S from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Governor’s conference on tourism

The Montana Governor’s Conference on Tourism and Recreation, the annual gathering of private and public sector partners in the tourism and recreation industries, will be held in Helena from April 23-25. Corporate culture presentation

Job Service Kalispell is offering a presentation on renewed focus on company culture and the prioritization of work-life balance above compensation and benefits. Speaking at the event will be Dorinda Gray, vice president of Insured Titles, Dorothy Meyer, workforce development recruiter for Nomad Global Communications, and Jenna Marshall, talent acquisition specialist for Immanuel Lutheran Communities. The free event is on Jan. 10, from noon-1 p.m. at Job Service Kalispell, 427 1st Ave E.

Bigfork networking event

The Bigfork Chamber of Commerce is hosting their monthly networking event at The Sitting Duck, 15265 Montana 35, on Jan. 12 from 5-6:30 p.m. The event is free but there will be a raffle for those who wish to take part.
