A woman’s ex-husband, who was wearing a sweatshirt that read “positive vibes,” allegedly hit and kicked her minivan and began following her. She pulled over and he got out and walked behind her vehicle. Dispatchers, who heard him in the background talking about wanting his stuff back, told her to drive to the Kalispell Police Department. An officer arrived on the scene and he left the area.

“Standard hooligans” were sighted at a location and advised to pack up and leave.

Several parents called officers while struggling through winter break.

A 14-year-old allegedly asked officers to check on her welfare because she didn’t want to stay at her father’s any longer during winter break. He allegedly had tried to grab a phone from her and swore. She said she recorded the incident and her mom contacted CPS. Officers spoke with the father who reportedly had set boundaries she didn’t agree with. Both parties were counseled.

An emergency room employee reached out to police for assistance when security was allegedly unable to de-escalate a situation involving a 17-year-old who was screaming nonstop. Her father was “also causing a scene,” saying he was going to sue everyone.

An upset parent reportedly wanted to speak to an officer but wouldn’t provide dispatch with routine information about what his call was regarding or his location, and instead hung up in a huff. When contact was made, he alleged that an older lady sold vape juice to his daughter, noting that she also sells drugs and fentanyl. His questions were answered.

A frustrated mother called the police after her 16-year-old son, who reportedly “thinks he can do whatever he wants” and doesn’t listen, up and left. She didn’t know where he was.

A couple of teenage boys were “acting like fools” at a store, which they refused to leave. Security called the police, where dispatchers could hear the disrespectful teens yelling at the employee, whom they were videotaping. The teens eventually left, joining up with a few other boys when a driver got out and was mouthy with the employee.

A man was allegedly standing on a corner by a park, yelling at passing vehicles and kicking a bench. Officers counseled him on his disorderly behavior.

A “young lady” wearing a blue hoodie and blue jeans reportedly kept returning to the parking lot of an organization where she was seen running into traffic and banging on cars.
