Big third quarter carries Pack girls to win
Freshman Karly Allen scored seven of her 11 points in the pivotal third quarter, and Glacier rallied past Butte for a 48-36 girls basketball win at home Friday.
Allen’s outburst sparked a 19-9 third-quarter surge that pushed the Wolfpack (2-3 overall, 1-0 in the Western AA) into a 37-31 lead.
Charlotte Osler added both of her baskets in the third, and teammate Noah Fincher hit a bucket and 3-pointer in the fourth quarter to finish with 10 points for Glacier.
Payton Clary, Lauren Rosenleaf and Brooke Groesbeck all scored six points each to lead Butte (1-3, 0-1).
Glacier hosts Sentinel today at 2 p.m.
