Flathead Business Newsmakers

• The Evergreen Chamber of Commerce during its annual holiday dinner in December honored several of its volunteers. The Brent Hall Award went to TJ Wendt, Volunteer of the Year went to Charles Lapp and the Energizer Bunny Award was given to Susan Taylor.

• E&S Ranch in Eureka, is receiving a $250,000 Value Added Producer Grant from the U.S Department of Rural Development to assist in processing so it can increase production and support a growing demand for its product in the Flathead Valley of Montana. E&S is a direct-to-the-consumer beef business for grass-fed and grass-finished steers.
