Wolfpack girls top Big Sky in wrestling dual

The Glacier girls got three pins and won their wrestling dual against Missoula Big Sky on Tuesday, 18-9 in Western AA wrestling.

Madisyn Frazier pinned Big Sky’s Hattie Morrow in 37 seconds in the 100-lb match. Morrow got the better of Jasmine Cartwright in a 9-6 decision at 145 later on.

At 126, Glacier’s Jessa Morris pinned Emma Trader in 1:41. The Wolfpack’s third pin came from Leah Esser (185), who pinned Elizabeth Henkins in 2:54.

Big Sky’s Lucia Schlapfer pinned Jessalyn Hewitt after a long battle in the 152 match. At 5:40, it was the longest match of the day.

Glacier’s next action is Saturday at the Hellgate Girls Mixer, set for 9 a.m. at Hellgate High School in Missoula.
