‘Waltzing in the New Year’ concert
Mizutani and Impact present the series finale of “The Lord of the Strings: A Concert Series” titled the “Waltzing in the New Year'' concert at 7 p.m. on Jan. 22 at Saint John Paul II, 195 Coverdell Road, Bigfork. The finale concert features Wai Mizutani and Natalee Radosovich with doors at 6:30 p.m.
Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for seniors and children under 10 and free for veterans or active duty military members. Tickets may be purchased at the door, online at impactwsce.com, eventbrite.com or by phone at 406-212-9515.
Opening reception for two new exhibitions
Join the Hockaday Museum from 5 to 7 p.m., Jan. 12 for an opening reception of the two new exhibitions to the museum, “Broad Spectrum: Contemporary Quilts” and “Members Salon 2023.”
Attendees of the reception tonight will preview the new exhibitions, meet member artists, museum board and staff. They will also have a chance to vote for their favorite artwork in the “Members Salon” exhibition. There will be catered food by house of S&M to enjoy, as well as a wine and drink bar. Ross Bridgeman, blending jazz and popular music styles with his crooning voice and catchy tunes, will be playing live music all evening.
Admission is free for members, regular admission is $10; all are welcome at the reception.
