Swanson scores 21, Bruins down Bravettes
HELENA — Megan Swanson scored 21 points and Helena Capital went up 10 points early in a 47-28 victory over Flathead in Western AA girls basketball Saturday.
Swanson had four points in the first quarter while the Bruins (6-1 overall, 3-1 in the Western AA) went up 16-6. She had eight points, including two 3-pointers, as Capital pulled away in the fourth quarter.
Kennedy Moore led Flathead (5-3, 2-2 in league) with 10 points. Avery Chouinard hit two 3-pointers on the way to eight points for the Bravettes. Flathead’s next action is a crosstown battle at Glacier next Friday.
