Regina "Reggie" Houston, 78

Reggie passed away in the morning of Saturday, Jan. 14. She was born and raised here in Kalispell. Other than the year she lived in Spokane to attend Kinman Business School she lived her entire life in Kalispell, Bigfork and Somers. She is preceded in death by her husband Mike; her parents Mel and Hilda Strand; and her brother Terry Strand. She is survived by her daughter Laralee Atchley; her stepson Tod Houston; and adopted son Cory Houston. She also has several grandchildren.

Reggie was very active and involved with the Moose Lodge and VFW. She was an amazing pianist. From her days playing in country bands when she was young to playing for many years at Tybuckers in Somers and most recently at Mavericks in Lakeside.

She enjoyed sewing and monograming. She was an avid bowler for many years as well. She will be missed by everyone who knew her and loved her. Per her request there will not be a funeral service but the family may have a celebration of her life at a later date.
