Moore, Chouinard lead Bravettes to win

MISSOULA — Kennedy Moore scored 18 points, Avery Chouinard poured in 16 and the Flathead Bravettes pushed past Missoula Big Sky in the fourth quarter for a 50-45 girls basketball win Thursday.

Both Moore and Chouinard hit 3-pointers in the final eight minutes as Flathead (7-3 overall, 4-2 in the Western AA) broke away from a 38-38 tie. Chouinard hit five 3-pointers overall, and scored 10 points after halftime.

Kaydynce Couture scored 17 points to lead the Eagles (4-6, 2-5 in league).
