In its Application, NorthWestern seeks approval of certain avoided cost rates applicable to contracts signed before December 10, 1984. The requested change in QFLT-1 rates only affects rates paid to the Colstrip Energy Limited Partnership and Pine Creek qualifying facilities. NorthWestern’s Application included a Motion for Interim Rate Adjustment (“Motion”). In its Motion, NorthWestern requested that the interim rates be effective on July 1, 2023.
