Law roundup: Suspicious slough swimmer slips away
Someone was suspicious of an individual they reportedly saw swimming across a slough and then getting out and walking across a resident’s back deck but told the Kalispell Police Department they couldn’t see where they went.
Three males were allegedly shouting and shoving two men who left, heading another way.
An extremely intoxicated woman was reportedly refusing to give her car keys to a man and the pair began arguing about alcohol intake when a brief struggle ensued. She claimed he hit her in the face while he said she attacked him first.
A man allegedly ripped a woman’s shirt, spit in her face and locked her out of an apartment. When she got back inside he reportedly went through her things and took money while stepping on her foot. Eventually, he went outside and she locked the door.
A bunch of unsupervised children under 8 years old were allegedly messing with cars and hanging on a fence which someone reported to the police, saying it was an ongoing problem where the kids would run around all the time “messing with things and playing in the road.”
A man reportedly didn’t pay for his beer at a restaurant and began threatening and arguing with the bartender.
A man’s iPad was allegedly stolen from his work truck and he told police it was pinging to a location. He said he didn’t want to pursue charges he just wanted the iPad back which contained work documents.
Teens were reportedly screaming and banging on cars in a parking lot. A second call came in about the unruly teens where someone alleged they were drinking alcohol and began dispersing.
A lot of teens allegedly waited in a high school parking lot for others to arrive and continue a fight. The group was sent on their way.
