Glacier's Goicoechea is Griz-bound
Kash Goicoechea, a senior-to-be at Glacier High School, announced his commitment to the Montana Grizzlies football program via Twitter on June 29.
Goicoechea played in nine games last fall, running 32 times for 250 yards and five touchdowns. He added one TD receiving and another via interception return, and was the main kick returner for the 7-4 Wolfpack. He’s also a UM legacy: His father Sean played safety for the Griz from 1993-96.
“I am super excited to announce my commitment to the University of Montana,” he tweeted. “I am very thankful for all of my family, teammates and coaches who have helped me along the way. Go Griz!!”
