No. 29610 LEGAL NOTICE Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks (FWP) proposed to construct a gravel parking lot along Montana Highway 2 in Columbia Falls, Montana to provide parking and pedestrian access to the Bad Rock Canyon Wildlife Management Area (WMA). Based upon the Draft EA and the applicable laws, regulations, and policies, FWP determined that the proposed action will not have negative effects on the human and physical environments associated with this project. Therefore, preparation of an Environmental Impact Statement is unnecessary. By notification of this Decision Notice (DN) the draft EA is hereby made final. FWP will proceed with the development of a parking area and information kiosk, with capacity for 15-vehicles, at our Bad Rock Canyon Wildlife Management Area, with work expected to begin in September 2023.
