Molly Ann Doudna Sanderson, 82
Molly Ann Doudna Sanderson, 82 of Polson, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on July 11, 2023, in Polson.
She was born in Shelby, on September 23, 1940, to Linus William and Molly Ann (Herman) Doudna.
She grew up in Cut Bank and attended the University of Montana.
She served as the Employee Benefits Officer for Bank of Montana System as well as the Treasurer for the National Association of Bank Women’s Golden Triangle Group.
She was also very active in the Montana thoroughbred racing community.
She loved Montana and knew more about its history than most people. She was also an avid reader, often exchanging books with friends in her neighborhood in Polson.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Durwood “Sandy” Sanderson; her daughter, Tracie Sanderson Partee; and her grandson, Maurice Partee.
At her request, the family has chosen not to have a service or memorial. Instead, they will bury her ashes in Cutbank with her parents then host a small neighborhood gathering at a later date.
